USB adapters for CF memory cards are widely available, but there are very few models around that support full size PCMCIA. The U111-M is perfect for applications where PCMCIA cards are still being used, and the host PC no longer has PCMCIA connectivity.

Suitable for:

  • Laptops without PCMCIA slots
  • Desktops Point of Sale machines
  • Mobile computers, e.g. in car systems.

The U111-M supports ATA memory, SRAM memory, and Linear Flash cards which support the Common Flash Memory Interface (CFI). No driver installation is normally required.


16-Bit PCMCIA Cards supported

USB Interface (USB1.1 and USB2.0 compatible)


Supports TypeI and II card sizes.  Slot has ejector lever

Also works with Compact Flash cards and SD cards using suitable adapters, available separately

Uses a low power high performance micro controller to convert the USB protocol to PCMCIA card read/write access.

Card is powered from the USB slot (second USB power connection available for low power hosts).

USB mass storage device class natively supported by Windows (2000, XP, VISTA), MAC and LINUX.
