P312 - 1 x CompactFlash - 5V + 3.3V PCI support
To cater for the latest generation of Low Profile PCs that can only use Low Profile PCI add-in boards, Elan has created the P312.
This model, from the P-Series range, features a Compact Flash Type II ejector and a circuit board that conforms to the MD1 profile specification.
It will allow you to use any Compact Flash card such as IBM MicroDrives, Bluetooth cards, WLan 802.11b cards, data acquistion cards, pager cards, GPS cards etc.
Unlike other PCI adapters for PC Cards, the Elan adapters do not use an extra "ISA paddle board" to support I/O cards and they do not use polling methods in-place of hardware IRQs. That's why our adapters work in Windows 95(osr2+), 98, 98SE, Millennium Edition, NT4, 2000, XP, MacOS9 and Linux (and *DOS too if required - Available on request by e-mail)!
Uses industry standard 1410 controller chip, proven on all classes of processor, chipset and motherboard manufacturer. Yenta compliant, PCI2.2 compliant, PC99 compliant. Supports sleep and suspend modes. Intel 82365 compatible register set
NOTE: This product will only fit into a Low Profile PC chassis. It cannot be used in a regular sized PC expansion bay because of the miniaturized Low Profile PCI back bracket that it uses.
*DOS support requires Card and Socket services, e.g. CardWare from APSoft see http://www.tssc.de

CF2PCE
The CF2PCE extender board allows PCMCIA cards to be used in Compact Flash TypeI or II slots. Typically this extender is for use in a development or production environment. The extender routes all 50 CF signals via pin-headers for DSO or Logic Analyzer connection. There is a micro-switch to allow CD1# to be momentarily broken, simulating a card ejection / insertion, and a unique activity LED to show when bus cycles are reaching the card. All PCMCIA signals that are not part of the CF interface are connected to GND at the PCMCIA connector.
The extender also features a power LED to show when the card is live, and uses a full size TypeI, II or III compatible 3.3v / 5v keyed PCMCIA connector with an ejector lever to make card extraction simple. The area under the PCMCIA connector is cut away to allow access to the back of an un-framed card.
A four layer PCB with GND flood on all planes ensures excellent signal propagation. For current consumption measurements, a 2-pin header is provided to allow Vcc to be broken and an ammeter inserted. Ceramic bypass capacitors at the PCMCIA connector ensure clean Vcc. Ample GND test points are also provided.
This product can be used with the CA101 to make CF to CF extender.

MCE - Memory Card Explorer Software
The Memory Card Explorer ("MCE" & "MCE/NT") is a graphical Windows software package which provides direct access to the data stored in flash, SRAM and ATA PCMCIA memory PC Cards. It allows the binary "image" of the card data to be saved to or loaded from the hard disk drive in simple and fast operations. Data between any two address blocks can be copied and edited. The format of the data on the card is unimportant - it could be a TFFS style format, or it could be a proprietary format written by a logger or portable instrument, or it could contain a mixture of formats. In all cases MCE can access the data. Also included is a card viewer that allows direct hex display of the data on the card.
The MCE turns your computer into a PC-Card duplication station.
