SAM - Modules  -  Miniature Measured Value Transformers

SAM modules are high-quality measured value transformers, which make the structure possible of compact signal conditioning units in the PC measuring technique. They can be inserted in SAM module boxes or into OEM specific carrier systems. Both the module box and the carrier system contain auxiliary energy and the adapter to the PC measuring board. Each SAM module makes a measuring channel available. SAM modules are available for many measuring sensors - voltage, current, PT100, thermocouples, ICP, bridge signals - with or without galvanic signal isolation. All modules have a bipolar 10V output signal range.

The SAM Module Box S1 has a durable aluminum housing and offers place for 5 SAM modules. It contains also the current supply and the connecting adapter to the PC measuring board. The auxiliary energy of the SAM modules is galvanically isolated from the supply voltage of the box.

The connection of the measuring signals is made either by BNC sockets or 4pin Lemo connector size 1 => Available Modules !

SAE16288 - Modular Signal Conditioning System

The SAE16288 offered by Bedo Elektronik is a very flexible modular signal conditioning system for PC-based data measurement.

For nearly all types of measurement signals and transmitters, e.g. Temperature, Pressure, Bridge transducer, Voltage or Current signals, SAK-Amplifier-Boards are available with or without galvanic isolation. Each SAK-Amplifier-Board transforms the input signal range to an output signal from -10V (-5V) to +10V (+5V). Generally SAK-Boards are available with 1, 2 or 4 measuring channels.

The SAK-Boards have 19" plug in boards. They are placed into the SAE16288-Base Units. All SAE16288-Base Units include a 230V AC power supply unit and the connector to the PC data acquisition board. The power supply unit is enabled by monitoring the supply voltage on the connector of the PC data acquisition board. The input signals are mechanically connected to the SAK-Board by BNC connectors, Lemo connectors or screw terminals. The design of the SAE16288-System allows you to use either the analog output and digital input and output lines of a multifunction PC data acquisition board.

The SAK-Amplifier Boards are completed by Lowpass filter, Sample & Hold and Triggerfunctions. The normal signal output range of all SAK-Amplifiers for analog values is -10V .. +10V or 0 .. 10V.

For every type of SAK-Amplifier we can offer you further measurement ranges. Also it is possible to order SAK-Amplifiers with an output signal range from -5V .. +5V or 0V .. 5V. Depending on the measurement signal and the sampling rate of the data acquisition board SAK-Amplifiers with a smaller signal bandwidth are available.

The Signal Conditioning System SAE16288 is compatible with all PD2-MF/MFS boards from UEI and connected to the PC data acquisition board by using the Bedo Signal adapter concept. The adapter is placed in rear of the base unit and uses the same signal connector as the data acquisition board. It is possible to use up to six signal adapters (SAE16288/19) in one system. For nearly every PC data acquisition board of all important manufactures a signal adapter is available.

SAECad creates and documents visual SAE-Systems for signal conditioning in PC-based data measurements systems. The user can configure and wire a SAE-System. He selects one of the possible base units and the signal adapter for the data acqusisition board. Now he chooses the needed SAK-Amplifiers and places them into the SAE16288-System. SAECad automatically uses the German or English language for all screen informations.
